Quite a day!

Saturday -- so no "real" work! (I'm in Sweden, where academic work is set aside for the weekend)

It was boat launching day in Ockero

Sunday morning update -- in the water!

We went to the "fish shop"

Filled the car with gas -- the bill was 625 SEK or $105. That will take Ulla about 350 miles. Gas is about $8 a US gallon.

And then to Goteborge

To visit Ulla's son, Peter, and his family -- wife Kajsa and sons Max, Mons, and Niels.

And have dinner with Barbara. On the way home I slipped on the cobblestones ....

I received medical advice (by phone) from Ulla's physician sister, Corin (wash with water, you only need to see a nurse practitioner if you think you need more attention and that can wait till tomorrow) and I'm glad I brought a second pair of glasses with me!Sunday update -- two black eyes and the story line, "You should see the other guy!"
