Today was the reason I was in Paris! We had an early start to take the metro (2 different lines) then the RER out to the ESSEC campus in Cergy (about 20 k north of Paris) in time for the 8:30 opening. Even negotiating the ticket vending machines was a new experience (see Karl and Henning working on the project!)
Meet and greet, attend sessions, present papers, (Ulla and mine went well), eat standing up, and keep talking earnestly.
Just like any other conference, except there was wine with everything!
