In the morning we went for a walk in the woods

Eric, Petter's younger brother, who is a pharmcy student at the University of Gothenburg, arrived in time for lunch.

In the late afternoon we went to a special concert -- the first in the Tengstrand 08 series. The featured artists were Ola Salo and Per Tengstrand. Per Tengstrant is a concert pianist, based in New York, who grew up in Vaxjo, and returns each year to host a concert series. In today's concert he was joined by a Norweg1an chamber orchestra and Ola Salo (note palindrome of name), a rock star, who sang ballads of his own composition. The concert title was "Absolutely no decorun: from Vivaldi to The Ark" and the pieces appealed to both the young and the old in the audience.


Another excellent meal and good conversation rounded out the day. Notice I haven't mentioned the "w" word!
